We are incredibly proud to share that our talented young champion Shravani S Angadi student of Jnana Vikas Public School studying in LKG has made us proud by setting National Record in the Crazy Talent Competition by reciting Bhagvath Geeta Shlokas where students from 5 states had participated, which was conducted by the prestigious Akshara Deepa Foundation with colabaration with Sneha Jeevi Foundation Mumbai Karnataka .

On 13th January 2025, our school campus came alive with the vibrant and traditional celebration of Makara Sankranti. The event was organized to help students connect with our rich cultural heritage and understand the significance of this auspicious festival.
The highlight of the celebration was the preparation of Pongal, cooked in the traditional way over a wood fire, which added an authentic touch. Teachers and students gathered around, enjoying the aroma of the dish and learning about the values of gratitude and togetherness that this festival embodies.
Students were educated about the purpose of celebrating Makara Sankranti, which marks the transition of the Sun into the zodiac of Capricorn. Discussions were held about the seasonal changes during this time and the importance of adapting our diet to suit the winter season, emphasizing health and sustainability.
A special pooja of cows was performed, highlighting their sacred role in Indian culture and their contribution to agriculture and daily life. This ritual deepened the students' understanding of respecting and preserving nature.
The celebration was a perfect blend of tradition, education, and joy, leaving everyone enriched with a sense of pride in our culture.

On November 10, 2024, the Jnana Vikas Public School students under the guidance of Temple of Martial Arts showcased its exceptional talent at the 3rd South Indian Open Karate Championship, bringing home not just 21 prizes but also winning the prestigious rolling trophy! To enrich our students' oral communication and pronunciation in Hindi, we have introduced a special learning segment during our school assembly. installation of the new Interact Club board on August 1st, 2024. The
ceremony began
with the collaring of the outgoing President, Itr. Sneha S, by the outgoing
Secretary, Itr. Kusumapriya V, followed by the call to order and handing over of the
mic to our Masters of Ceremony. Our esteemed dignitaries, including Chief Guest
Rotarian UmeshPuttanna, Installation Officer Rotarian Shoaib Abbas, and other
honored guests, graced the occasion. The lighting of the lamp set a solemn tone,
followed by an invocation song that resonated with everyone present.

We celebrated International Yoga Day, a
day dedicated to the ancient practice of yoga that brings harmony between mind,
body, and spirit. Yoga originated in India over 5,000 years ago and has since spread
across the world, helping millions achieve better health and well-being. The
importance of yoga cannot be overstated. It improves flexibility, strength, and
balance. Practicing yoga helps reduce stress, anxiety, and promotes mental clarity
and calmness. It encourages a healthy lifestyle and enhances concentration, making
it especially beneficial for students. Today, our fellow students demonstrated some
basic yoga asanas. These poses not only help in physical fitness but also teach us
patience and perseverance.
Jnana Vikas Public School celebrated
Environment Day on June 5, 2024. We had many Educative presentations like song,
dance, mime and skit by our students. It created awareness among the students about
the nurturing of plants,to avoid use of plastic ,the usage of rain water by rain
water harvesting etc.
We had a set of students from class X along with School Principal and Teachers,
who visited the dignitaries and presented saplings.Few among them were Mr.
Sudarshan, Assistant Executive Engineer of BWSSB Konanakunta, Dr. Shilpa Bhat, a
dermatologist, from Subodha Clinic, Mrs. Shashirekha Jayram, the Corporator of
Konankunta ward and also to the Sub Inspector of police Konanakunta

It’s time to celebrate Christmas.
We at JVPS celebrated Christmas today. All the children actively participated in
decorating the area with bulletin boards, drawings, colourful balloons, decorating
the Christmas tree. The Primary Block and Nursery Block students performed skit,
speeches and dance for Jingle Bells. All the teachers began the programme by
lighting of candles. Students had dressed up as Santa Clause. It is a very happy
occasion for everyone to enjoy.

Music and Rhythm find their way into the secret places of the soul. We
at JVPS celebrated 'Rhythm and Rhyme' for the Nursery block students. Teachers had
trained the young minds with rhythmic rhymes and also all about our Environmental
Science, i.e. all about importance of Solar system, Plants, Stars and planets,
chanting of slokas etc.
The students actively participated in their activities. Parents encouraged the students by their presence in big numbers.
JVPS Management is very proud to announce that we had an ANNUAL EXHIBITION in our school premises on 3.12.22, Saturday. It was related to all the six subjects and also Art. The children had created wonderful models and were confident in giving the explanation of the concept of their models. Parents also visited in a big number and encouraged our students. It was a very successful event for the academic year 2022-23.
Yellow colour is associated with sun. It symbolizes optimize energy, joy, happiness and friendship. Yellow colour promise positive future as well as energy. The day is dedicated to the yellow colour. Students of Nursery at JVPS were dressed up in their favourite yellow colour. They also brought yellow objects to make it a complete day.

Kanakadasa Jayanthi is the birth anniversary of the famous poet, Shri
Kanakadasa.
He was a renounced composes of Carnotite Music, Poet, reformer and
musician. His compositions were in Kannada. He was popular in teaching the
eliminates of ones ago, equality of men and attaining salvation.

Deepavali known as festival of
lights is a Hindu religious festival.

Deepavali is celebrated as it is believed that Narakasura was killed by Lord
Krishna ,Symbolizing righteous winning over un righteousness. Lighting of lamp
signifies removal of darkness, achieving prosperity, peace and happiness.
We at
JVPS Celebrated Diwali by doing Lakshmi Pooja. Students enjoyed the festival by
singing songs, speech about the importance of Diwali. We enjoyed the festival of
lights with sweets.

JVPS celebrated world environment day. This year 2022, the theme is ‘ ONLY ONE EARTH
’. The programme began with the lighting of lamp and a prayer song. This was
followed by speech about environment and environmentalists by our students. High
school section were creative enough to entertain the gathering with song, skit and a
dance.
KANNADA VE SATYA KANNADA VE NITYA
We at JVPS were blessed to celebrate KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA.
The students from grade 6 to grade 10,participated in the celebration. The children
were energetic and enthusiastic in the participation of the programme. The teachers
and staff were supporting the students to exhibit their talent. This was followed by
mourning, for 2 minutes for the sad demise of Shri. Puneeth Rajkumar.

There was a very special guest to JVPS, today, who inspired our students with his
speech. Shri. Vivekananda is a person who is going to various schools and colleges,
and inspiring the young minds with a thought provoking speech. The session was
interactive wherein the children enthusiastically, questioned the guest about the
thoughts that arose in their minds. The Management, teachers and students are very
glad to have a person like him, who is readily accessible to think and get solutions
to problems that arise in the society due to lack of moral values and humanity.

well as others life also beautiful.
